Mongla Port Officers Association Holds AGM & Reunion 2026

The Mongla Port Authority Officers Association celebrated its annual general meeting and reunion today, May 2, 2026, at the Port Auditorium in Khalishpur. Established in 1993 the association held the event in a festive atmosphere, drawing spontaneous participation from port officials.

Presided over by Association President Sheikh Shawkat Ali, the meeting focused on outlining future action plans and discussing the professional welfare and demands of the officers. Key executive members in attendance included General Secretary Md. Sohel Rana, Co-Presidents Md. Mahfuzur Rahman and Mehfuzur Rahman, and several other departmental secretaries and leaders.

Following the formal session, the event transitioned into a reunion and cultural program. Family members of the officers joined the festivities, which organizers noted would significantly strengthen the bonds of camaraderie and harmony within the Mongla Port community.
