Free Eye Treatment Camp Held in Noldanga

A free eye treatment camp was organized in Noldanga Union of Sadullapur upazila, Gaibandha, under the patronage of the voluntary organization Uddyam Unnayan Sangstha.

The camp, held at the organization’s office near the old tempo stand, was jointly organized by SKS Eye Hospital. It was inaugurated by Md. Habizar Rahman, Senior Vice President of Uddyam Unnayan Sangstha.

Around 300 underprivileged men and women received eye treatment, provided by Dr. Taiful Miraj, Medical Officer of SKS Eye Hospital. Later, 26 patients with severe eye conditions were taken to the hospital for free surgeries.

Local residents praised the initiative, saying it greatly benefited poor families in the area.
