Agrani Bank PLC organized a regional sports competition and a strategic branch managers’ conference in Bhola on Friday.
The day began with the Kriya (Sports) Competition, held at the Lions Homeopathic Medical College ground in Kalinath Royer Bazar. Organized by the Bhola Agrani Bank Kriya and Cultural Council, the event brought together staff and officials from across the region.
Swapan Kumar Dhar, General Manager of the Barishal Circle, attended as the Chief Guest. The session was presided over by Deputy General Manager Ganesh Chandra Debnath. Special guests included Barishal Circle DGM Alauddin Ahmed and College Principal Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin.
In the afternoon, the bank transitioned to a Branch Managers' Conference at the Bhola regional office. Managers from all regional branches—including Char Fashion, Borhanuddin, Lalmohan, and Daulatkhan—gathered to review their performance.
General Manager Swapan Kumar Dhar provided strategic directives for the year ahead. The discussions focused on Reviewing business target achievements from 2025. Formulating an operational roadmap for 2026. Strengthening regional banking services and performance indicators.
The conference concluded with a commitment from all branch heads to meet the bank’s growth objectives for the new fiscal year.
