Barrister Ragib Rouf Chowdhury Secures BNP Nomination for Kushtia-2

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has finalized its candidate for the Kushtia-2 (Bheramara-Mirpur) constituency for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election. Barrister Ragib Rouf Chowdhury has been officially nominated to represent the party in this key seat.

The final nomination letter, signed by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, was handed over to the candidate on Wednesday.

Bheramara Upazila BNP Member Secretary Shahajan Ali confirmed the news, which was quickly celebrated by party activists and supporters across social media.

In a statement shared following his nomination, Barrister Ragib Rouf Chowdhury dedicated the candidacy to the grassroots leaders and workers who endured "oppression and false cases" over the last 16 years. He emphasized his commitment to building a society free from Terrorism and Extortion, Corruption, Oppression of Women.

He expressed his deep gratitude to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and the party’s National Standing Committee for their trust in his leadership.
