Bhola Joint Operation: Awami League Leader Arrested in Late-Night Raid

In a coordinated effort, the Coast Guard and Police arrested a local leader of the Awami League in Bhola early Wednesday morning. The operation took place around 2:00 AM on December 24 in the Gazipur Road area under Bhola Sadar Police Station.

The arrested individual has been identified as Md. Iqbal Hossain (63). Authorities described him as a local leader and activist of the Awami League.

Acting on secret information, Coast Guard Base Bhola and local police conducted a joint raid to apprehend the suspect.

According to Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq, the arrestee has been handed over to Bhola Sadar Police Station for further legal proceedings.
