Tragedy struck the Moghbazar intersection on Wednesday evening when a 21-year-old man, identified as Siam, was killed in a powerful crude bomb explosion. Siam, an employee of a local automobile accessories shop, was reportedly out to buy snacks and tea when the incident occurred around 7:10 PM.

Witnesses and police report that the explosive device was hurled from the Moghbazar flyover, striking the victim on the head as it landed on the road below. The impact was fatal, causing immediate death on the spot.

Siam (21), an employee at Zahid Car Decoration. Near Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Central Command, Moghbazar. A powerful "cocktail" or crude bomb thrown from the flyover by unidentified assailants.

Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area. Senior police officials are investigating the motive and attempting to identify those responsible for the attack.
