World Human Rights Day celebrated in Pabna

World Human Rights Day was celebrated in Chatmohar, Pabna with the theme "Human Rights are essential in our daily lives". A colorful procession was taken out at 10 am on Wednesday. The procession circled the upazila and met at the campus park for a discussion meeting.

Chatmohar Upazila Women and Children Affairs Officer Mahmuda Sultana, Upazila Youth Development Officer Abdul Mabud, Chatmohar Press Club President Helalur Rahman Jewel and Daily Bangladesh Bulletin Staff Reporter Arif Ahmed Siddiqui addressed the discussion meeting, which was conducted and moderated by Kamal Ahmed Siddiqui, District Human Rights Monitoring Officer of the Empower Her Project of the Human Rights Foundation (MSF).

More than a hundred women, including people from different classes and professions, participated in the procession and discussion meeting.

At the discussion meeting, the speakers highlighted the importance of human rights, increasing the sense of responsibility and awareness for establishing rights, and ensuring human rights with the help of the state as citizens of the state.
