Rally on International Human Rights Day in Lakshmipur

A rally and human chain were held in Lakshmipur on the occasion of International Human Rights Day.

On Wednesday (December 10) morning, the rally organized by the Bangladesh Human Rights Commission district branch started from the Sadar Upazila Parishad premises and ended at the Deputy Commissioner's office area. Later, they formed a human chain in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office.

Speaking at the event, Bangladesh Human Rights Commission District President Shamsul Karim Khokon, Vice President Hossain Chowdhury, Ahsan Ullah Tuhin, General Secretary Jahangir Hossain, Sadar Upazila Vice President Rashedul Islam, human rights activists Nur Mohammad, Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Rabiul Sunny Akash, Shah Safayat Ullah Qaderi, Md. Jasim Uddin and others.
