Meanwhile, Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu and Momin Ali's people had an argument with Tariqul Islam, the expelled joint convener of the Upazila Jubo Dal, about the collision with a motorcycle and a car on the way. As it was time for Maghrib prayers, the leaders and activists entered the Deulbhog Dayahata Baitul Aman Jame Mosque for prayers before the funeral. At that time, Tariqul Islam entered the mosque with his people and attacked Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu's supporters. Abdur Rahim (47), Mominul Islam Fahim (24) and Akhter Hossain (49) were injured in this. On the other hand, Alhaj Momin Ali said, Tariqul is the son of Sheikh Md. Abdullah, the BNP's draft nominee for Munshiganj-1 constituency. Earlier, he was detained by the police. Later, he was kidnapped by an attack on the police station. Another source said that the argument started over Sheikh Md. Abdullah's election sticker on Tariqul's motorcycle. However, Tariqul's side claims that they were beaten up here and Tariqul suffered injuries under his eyes.

It is worth noting that on the evening of January 10, the accused, who was issued a warrant in an attempt to murder case, was arrested by the Srinagar Upazila Police Station.
