


Former state minister and BNP leader Mizanur Rahman Sinha has expressed optimism about the timely completion of the Mollabazar Bridge in Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj.
“I wanted this bridge to be built ten years ago, but unfortunately, it wasn’t possible then. Now the construction has resumed. InshaAllah, with everyone’s cooperation, it will be completed soon,” he said while inspecting the ongoing bridge construction at Mollabazar area of Baluchar Union on Friday afternoon.
Among others present were Alhaj Momin Ali, member of the district BNP convening committee; Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Quddus Dhiren, former president of Sirajdikhan Upazila BNP; Md. Farhad Hossain, joint convener of Dhaka South City BNP; Amir Hossain Dolon, general secretary of Tongibari Upazila BNP; and Akhtar Hossain Molla, vice president of Tongibari Upazila BNP.
Also in attendance were Delwar Hossain Dilu, Zahirul Islam Murad, Dhali Mohammad Wahid, Sheikh Jamal, Beauty Akhter, Razia Sultana Sumi, Nasima Akhter, Monir Hossain, Wazahid Haldar, BM Manjur, Din Islam Member, Jewel Haldar, Maruf Islam Rimel, and Md. Harun, among other BNP leaders and activists.
Local BNP leaders said the bridge, once completed, will greatly ease communication and benefit residents of surrounding areas.
