Bangladesh reported no new dengue deaths in the 24 hours leading up to Friday morning, October 31, 2025, keeping the total number of fatalities for the year at 278.

However, the country logged 506 new dengue cases during the same period, pushing the total number of cases this year to 69,862.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the highest number of new cases were reported in the Dhaka Division (Out of City Corporation - 213), followed by Dhaka North City Corporation (108), Chattogram Division (91), and Barishal Division (53). Currently, 2,782 dengue patients are receiving treatment in hospitals nationwide.

This year’s fatality count remains significantly lower than last year, which saw 575 deaths.
