There is growing uncertainty over the condition of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Iran claimed to have targeted his office in its latest missile strike.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the Israeli prime minister’s office was directly hit during the 10th wave of missile attacks. As of filing this report, Israel has not issued any official statement confirming or denying the claim.
Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported that the IRGC’s Public Relations Department announced the use of a “Khyber” missile in the operation. According to the statement, the main targets were the Israeli prime minister’s office and the residence of the Air Force commander. The IRGC claimed the strike was accurate and caused significant damage.
There is no independent verification of these claims. Israeli authorities have not disclosed the prime minister’s location or condition, adding to the uncertainty.
Tehran says the attacks are retaliation for a joint US-Israeli military operation inside Iran last Saturday. Since then, Iran has launched ten rounds of drone and missile strikes. Iranian sources claim the attacks targeted sites in Israel as well as US bases in the Middle East.
Iran described the tenth wave as more precise and destructive than earlier strikes. The reported targeting of the prime minister’s office marks a serious escalation in tensions.
Israel remains on high alert. Air defence systems are active amid continued missile threats.
The absence of official confirmation from Israel regarding the prime minister’s safety has raised concern internationally. Analysts warn that further escalation could destabilize the broader Middle East region.
