


The Chattogram Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has approved a four-member ad hoc committee to manage daily administrative affairs at Mohammad Nagar HKC High School in Bayezid Thana, Chattogram.
Md Ziaur Rahman the Senior Joint Convener of the Chattogram Metropolitan Volunteer Party has been nominated as committee president. The decision was announced in a notification signed by Professor Md Abul Kashem, School Inspector of the Chattogram Education Board.
Under the Education Ministry's circular and the Chattogram Education Board's 2024 regulations and the committee has been approved for six months from the notification date.
Other members include teacher representative Umme Kulsum nominated by the District Education Officer and guardian representative Mohammad Shafiqul Islam also nominated by the Deputy Commissioner and Upazila Executive Officer. The school's headmaster will serve as ex-officio member secretary.
The committee will hold all powers of the school management committee but cannot appoint new teachers or staff as per ministry guidelines.
Teachers, guardians and local well-wishers expressed hope that Rahman's leadership will improve the school's education quality and infrastructure.
