Storm Warning Issued for 7 Districts in Bangladesh

The Meteorological Department has forecast storms with wind speeds of up to 60 km/h in seven districts by Monday evening. River ports in these areas have been asked to show warning signals.

According to the inland river port forecast issued from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, rain or thunderstorms with temporary gusty or squally winds may affect Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, and Sylhet.

Winds may blow from the west or northwest at speeds between 45 and 60 km/h.

River ports in the affected regions have been advised to display warning signal number 1.
