


Two Bangladeshi expatriate workers were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a residential house in the Zebdin area of Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon on Monday. A Syrian national also died in the attack.
The media outlet Lorient Today reported that the deceased were working as laborers in the area at the time of the strike. While the identities of the Bangladeshi victims have not yet been officially released and efforts are underway to gather more details.
This strike marks the second Israeli attack in the Zebdin area within 24 hours. Tensions have surged despite a ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump on April 16. Israeli forces have continued operations in southern Lebanon and targeting what they describe as Hezbollah positions, while Hezbollah has retaliated with drone attacks against Israeli soldiers.
Earlier on Monday, the Israeli military ordered residents of nine villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately, warning of intensified air and shelling operations.
