


BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman cast his vote for the 13th parliamentary election on Thursday morning. He arrived at the Gulshan Model School and College polling center at 9:30 am on February 12.
Rahman was accompanied by his wife, Zubaida Rahman, and daughter, Zaima Rahman. His arrival was marked by a heavy security presence, with both army and police personnel cordoning off the area to ensure a peaceful voting process.
Speaking to the media briefly after voting, the BNP chief emphasized the importance of public participation and expressed his commitment to restoring the rule of law. This election marks a significant milestone in Bangladesh's political landscape, being the first general election since the transition in August 2024.
