


The country's largest non-governmental development organization ASHA held a day-long annual BM coordination meeting on Wednesday with 34 branch managers and 6 regional managers working in Pabna district.
The meeting was held at the meeting hall of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Khamarbari, Pabna.
Senior District Manager Ali Ahmed Mia presided over the meeting, with ASHA's Deputy Director (Operations) Swael Ahmed and Rajshahi Division Division Manager Rafiqul Islam present as the chief guests.
The meeting set a target of disbursing a total of Tk 325 crore in loans in the sectors of agriculture, fisheries, dairy cow farming, installation of onion preservation machines, mushroom cultivation, installation of biogas plants, sanitation and creation of new entrepreneurs in Pabna district in 2026. In addition, a plan was adopted to organize 38 free medical and physiotherapy camps this year and spend 1.2 crore taka on the education sector.
