Great Victory Day celebrated in Pabna

The Great Victory Day is being celebrated in Pabna with due dignity. As soon as the sun rises, wreaths are laid in memory of the martyrs at the Durjoy Pabna Memorial, the monument of independence.

In addition, a parade at the stadium, discussions and prayers are organized at various institutions for the peace of the departed souls of the martyrs.

Deputy Commissioner Shahed Mustafa and Superintendent of Police Anwar Zahid led the wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial. Later, wreaths were laid by various social, cultural and political organizations including Pabna Press Club, Pabna College, BRTA, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Annadagobinda Public Library, as well as various professional organizations.
