


A fire broke out at a foam factory in the Saddam Market area of Kadamtali in the capital on Friday evening. Five firefighting units are currently on-site working to bring the blaze under control.
The Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) control room received the emergency call at 6:00 PM. Duty Officer Rozina Akhter confirmed the deployment, stating that crews were dispatched immediately to the industrial site.
As of 7:30 PM, the fire was still being fought by the responding teams. While the cause of the fire remains unknown, officials have confirmed that no casualties have been reported so far. Further updates are expected once the flames are fully extinguished and the cooling process begins.
