Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from "Lucky Boarding," a residential hotel in Pabna city, on Tuesday afternoon. The discovery has sparked local tension, particularly as the hotel’s owner and staff have disappeared.
Locals alerted authorities after noticing a foul odor emanating from one of the guest rooms. Responding officers broke down the door to find the victim’s body inside.
According to police, the deceased appears to be between 25 and 30 years old. Investigators noted deep sharp-weapon injuries to her neck, indicating a deliberate homicide. The hotel has since been locked, and the disappearance of all management and staff has led investigators to suspect their direct involvement or complicity in the crime.
Pabna Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Dulal Hossain confirmed that evidence has been collected from the scene. "The body has been sent to the Pabna General Hospital morgue for an autopsy. We are actively searching for the hotel authorities, who remain at large," he stated. Legal proceedings are currently underway.
