OCs of 16 CMP police stations transferred simultaneously

All the Officers-in-Charge (OC) of 16 police stations under the Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) have been transferred simultaneously.

An official order signed by CMP Commissioner Hasib Aziz confirmed the transfer on Saturday (December 6).Among the transferred officers, Kotwali Police Station OC Md. Abdul Karim has been sent to Panchlaish Model Police Station. Sadarghat Police Station OC Md. Abdur Rahim has been given Bandar Police Station.

Baklia Police Station OC Md. Aftab Uddin has been sent to Kotwali Police Station and Panchlaish Police Station OC Mohammad Solaiman has been sent to Baklia Police Station.Chandgaon Police Station OC Md. Jahedul Kabir has been transferred to Bayezid Bostami Police Station. Khulshi Police Station OC Shahinur Alam is going to Karnaphuli Police Station.

Doublemooring Police Station OC Md. Babul Azad has been sent to Chawkbazar Police Station and Halishahar Police Station OC Muhammad Nurul Absar has been sent to Pahartali Police Station.

Akbarshah Police Station OC Md. Arifur Rahman has been given Sadarghat Police Station. Pahartali Police Station OC Md. Jamir Hossain Zia is going to Doublemooring Police Station. Karnaphuli Police Station Md. Jahedul Islam has been sent to Khulshi Police Station and Bandar Police Station OC Mostafa Ahmed is going to Patenga Police Station.Chawkbazar Police Station OC Shafiqul Islam has been attached to CTSB (Unarmed Police Inspector).

It is learnt that no new OC has been appointed to EPZ Police Station in this reshuffle. CMP Assistant Police Commissioner (Headquarters and Public Relations) Aminur Rashid said, “This decision has been taken to increase the efficiency of administrative activities and make the security of the city more orderly. It will be effective immediately in the public interest.
