A two-day training workshop on ‘Developing Skills in the Use and Implementation of D-Documents’ commenced on Friday (December 5) at Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) for its teachers and officials.

Speakers emphasized the transformative potential of D-documents, noting they allow official activities to be carried out quickly from anywhere, significantly increasing work speed and efficiency. The digital system is expected to enhance confidentiality of files and boost transparency and accountability in official work. It was mentioned that 28 universities in Bangladesh currently use D-documents, with 8 more universities soon slated for implementation.

The workshop was organized in the university's central library virtual classroom, presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Shamim Reza, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and conducted by IQAC's Additional Director, Dr. Md. Asfaqur Rahman.
