Medical technologists and pharmacists across Pabna district observed a four-hour, half-day strike on Wednesday morning, demanding the immediate implementation of the 10th grade status for their posts.
The strike took place from 8 am to 12 pm in front of the Pabna General Hospital and saw participation from professionals and students affiliated with both government and private healthcare sectors.
Speakers at the demonstration claimed they were being unjustly deprived of their fair rights due to the long-delayed implementation of the 10th grade. They issued a strong warning to the government, stating that a "more stringent agitation program" would be announced if their demand is not met promptly.
