Principal Kazi Farooqui College Clinches Third Consecutive Lakshmipur District Football Championship

Principal Kazi Farooqui College has achieved the championship title in the Lakshmipur District Inter-College Football Tournament, marking the third consecutive time the institution has won the district title.

The final match was held at the Lakshmipur District Stadium on Thursday (December 4) afternoon. Principal Kazi Farooqui College secured the championship by defeating Dattapara Degree College.

In addition to the team championship, Iftekhar Hasan Fahad, the goalkeeper for Principal Kazi Farooqui College, was recognized and selected as the best player of the tournament.

The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by District Sports Officer Farzin Akhter Mumu. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Samrat Khisa attended as the chief guest and presented the prizes to the champion and runner-up teams. Several prominent guests were present, including District Sports Association member A. H. M Mostaqur Rahman, Vice President of Lakshmipur Football Association Mohsin Kabir Swapan, and the principals of both participating colleges, Nurul Amin (Principal Kazi Farooqui College) and Nurul Amin Bulbul (Dattapara Degree College).
