Sher-e-Bangla Fazlul Haque College Clinches Title in Jhalakati Inter-College Football Tournament

The Inter-College Football Tournament-2025, held in Jhalakati under the slogan "Come change the country, change the world," concluded on Thursday afternoon, December 4, with the final match and prize distribution ceremony at the Jhalakati Municipal Stadium.

The team from Binoykathi Sher-e-Bangla Fazlul Haque Degree College emerged as the champions. They defeated the team from Jhalokati Government College in a tiebreaker in the final match.

Deputy Commissioner Md. Momin Uddin attended as the chief guest and officially handed over the trophies, medals, and prize money placards to the players of both the champion and runner-up teams. Jhalakati Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Humayun Kabir was the special guest at the ceremony, which was also attended by the Youth Development Officer, Health Officer, media workers, and sports organizers.

The tournament was organized by the district administration and district sports office. According to Jhalokati District Sports Officer Naresh Gain, the event began on December 2 and lasted until December 4. A total of 12 college teams from the four upazilas of Jhalokati district participated in the competition.
