Paikgachha Bar Association annual election today. Two candidates are contesting for the post of president. Candidates for the other 10 posts have already been elected unopposed.
Voting will be held at the Bar Association auditorium from 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday, November 30. Current president Advocate GM Abdus Sattar and Advocate Prashant Kumar Mondal are contesting for the post of president. A total of 70 voters will elect the president by exercising their voting rights. Earlier, as there were no multiple candidates for any post against the 10 posts, all the candidates were elected unopposed. Those elected unopposed are Vice President

Ekramul Haque Biswas, Sports and Social Welfare Secretary Kazi Saiful Islam, Literature and Culture Secretary Md. Aminul Islam, Library Secretary Rashna Sharmin Ankhi, 3 members Md. Abdul Malek, Anadi Krishna Mandal and Md. Saifuddin. Chief Election Commissioner Advocate Muzaffar Hasan said that all preparations for the election are complete. Assistant Election Commissioners are Abni Mohan Sana and Sheikh Barikul Islam.
