


Around 1,000 men and women from remote villages in Raipur, Laxmipur have been provided free eye treatment. On Saturday (November 29) morning, BNP Chairperson's Advisor and Paddy Sheesh candidate from Laxmipur-2 (part of Raipur and Sadar) constituency, Abul Khair Bhuiyan inaugurated the eye treatment camp.
Former Chairman of Charmohana Union Parishad of the upazila and Raipur Upazila BNP President J.A. Nazmul Islam Mithu organized it. In this, 4 doctors provided treatment in 4 booths under the management of Chandpur Mazharul Haque BNSB Eye Hospital.
It is learned that former Chairman of Charmohana Union Nazmul Islam Mithu has been organizing free treatment for the people of the village through camps for about 25 years. This camp has been promoted through miking and leaflets in every union of Raipur. In this, about a thousand people of different ages received primary treatment and were provided with free medicines. In addition, more than a hundred patients have been selected for free cataract surgery. BNP leader Mithu will arrange for their surgery at the Chandpur Mazharul Haque BMSB Eye Hospital.
Former Chairman of Charmohona Union Nazmul Islam Mithu said, I have organized this to provide medical services to the marginalized people. Along with politics, I like doing humanitarian work. I feel peace when I can do something for people. I have fulfilled many humanitarian requests, not only the eye camp. I will try to do something for people in the future.
