The leaders and activists of BNP, along with its affiliated organizations, organized a procession to support Paddy Sheaf candidate Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee in Lakshmipur.
On Tuesday afternoon, November 18, the procession, arranged by the municipal BNP and its associated organizations, commenced from the North Temuhani area of the city, traversed the main road, and concluded in the South Temuhani area.
Anee Chowdhury serves as the Joint Secretary General of BNP and is the convener of the Lakshmipur District BNP. Additionally, she has previously been elected twice as a member of parliament from the Lakshmipur-3 constituency.
The procession was led by Municipal BNP President Rezaul Karim Liton, Sadar Upazila East BNP President Main Uddin Chowdhury Riaz, Municipal BNP General Secretary Nizam Uddin, District Jubo Dal President Abdul Alim Humayun, General Secretary Syed Rashidul Hasan Lincoln, District Sramik Dal President Saiful Islam Shahin, General Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Sohel, Volunteer Dal President Advocate Mohsin Kabir Swapan, General Secretary Harnur Rashid, District Chhatra Dal President Hasan Mahmud Ibrahim, General Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, among others.
During a brief rally following the procession, the leaders and activists expressed that Anee Chowdhury is not only a valuable asset to Lakshmipur but also to the nation as a whole. They emphasized that if she is elected in the future, she will serve as a minister, urging everyone to come together and vote for Anee Chowdhury with the symbol of a sheaf of rice.
