The Pabna District chapter of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) successfully commemorated its 55th founding anniversary and Public Engineering Day with great enthusiasm on Saturday, November 15.

The event, held under the crucial theme "Efficient Manpower - The Main Basis of Nation Building," highlighted the vital role of diploma engineers in national development.

The day began with a highly successful rally, inaugurated by Chief Guest Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Shariful Islam. The procession, featuring over 600 participants from various engineering sectors and polytechnic institutes, traversed the central thoroughfare of Pabna city, Abdul Hamid Road, drawing public attention to the importance of the engineering profession.

Speakers, including the Police representative, the Vice-Principal of Pabna Polytechnic Institute, and the IDEB General Secretary, reinforced the need for skilled and efficient technical manpower to drive Bangladesh's growth, thereby aligning the local celebration with the national objectives of the institution.
