Extensive and large-scale preparations for the Victory Day (December 16) celebrations across Bangladesh are complete. Key national figures, including National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman, Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, and Senior Secretary of the Home Affairs Ministry Nasimul Ghani, along with other senior officials, conducted a final inspection of the arrangements on Wednesday, as confirmed by the Chief Adviser's Press Wing this afternoon.
The celebrations will feature major demonstrations by the armed forces. The Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force are scheduled to conduct fly-past demonstrations at the old Tejgaon Airport starting from 11:00 am.
This will be followed by a special Victory Day band show. A highlight of the event will be the flag-bearing skydive performance by 54 paratroopers of "Team Bangladesh" at 11:40 am, symbolizing 54 years of the nation's independence.
