Ireland began the final day needing 333 more runs to win, starting at 176 for 6. The Irish lower-order batsmen showed remarkable resilience, forcing Bangladesh to bowl about 60 overs to claim the last four wickets. The visitors were finally bowled out for 291 runs in 113.3 overs their highest-ever fourth-innings score. Curtis Campher led the stubborn resistance, remaining unbeaten on 71. Bangladesh's spin attack proved crucial. Left-arm spinners Hasan Murad and Taijul Islam were the stars, each claiming four wickets in the innings.
