BNP MP Distributes Eid Aid, Highlights Women’s Safety in Faridpur

Member of Parliament from Faridpur-3 constituency, Chaudhuri Nayab Yusuf, said women’s safety and welfare have improved under the current government.

He made the remarks on Monday afternoon while distributing Eid and Iftar items among hundreds of women in Bhelabaj and Hat Gobindapur villages of Krishnapur Union.

The lawmaker said the government is implementing various welfare initiatives so that ordinary people do not suffer. He mentioned programmes such as financial allowances and family cards aimed at supporting low-income families.

Nayab Yusuf also said the government is working to strengthen the agricultural sector and improve farmers’ livelihoods. He added that plans are underway to excavate the Kumar River to benefit local farmers in the Faridpur region.

Among others present at the event were businessman and social worker Chaudhuri Farian Yusuf, Faridpur Metropolitan BNP Joint Convener Mizanur Rahman Mrinal, Metropolitan Jubo Dal General Secretary Rezwan Biswas Torun, Krishnanagar BNP General Secretary Asaduzzaman, Jubo Dal President Nannu Molla and General Secretary Azizur Rahman.
