Students of Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) will enjoy a 17-day holiday on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to a notice issued by the university’s Registrar’s Office, all classes and academic activities will remain suspended from 9 March to 25 March across all departments.

The notice says the decision was taken in line with the university’s academic calendar and in observance of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr.

However, essential administrative activities will continue on a limited scale during the holiday period. The university said one designated officer and one staff member will remain on duty to handle urgent matters.

Regular academic activities at PSTU are scheduled to resume on 26 March after the holiday ends.
