A progress review meeting on a community-based climate adaptation plan, developed under the Nabapallab Project of CARE Bangladesh, was held in Morelganj Upazila of Bagerhat on Wednesday.

The meeting took place at the Upazila Parishad meeting room at 11:00 am and was chaired by Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Saiful Islam.

At the beginning of the meeting, CARE Bangladesh Upazila Coordinator Nazmul Haque Rezwan delivered a welcome address and provided an overview of the project. CARE Bangladesh Senior Officer (CVCA & LLAP) Golam Moazzem presented detailed information on the project's activities and progress.

Among others, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Abu Hanif, Disability Affairs Officer Md. Kaikobad, and ICT Officer Trideep Sarkar spoke at the meeting.

Participants emphasized the importance of regular government monitoring of the Nabapallab Project's activities across the six unions of the upazila to ensure continued progress and effective implementation of climate adaptation initiatives.
