


To improve the quality of local education and ensure regular student attendance, the Upazila Administration hosted an educational rally in Kalia, Narail, on Wednesday afternoon.
The event, held at the Upazila Parishad Hallroom, brought together heads of primary, secondary, and higher secondary institutions, along with key education stakeholders. Discussions focused on preventing student dropouts, expanding technology-based learning, and cultivating an engaging, education-friendly environment.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Abdul Salam, attending as the chief guest, emphasized the crucial role of teachers in nurturing talent and human values.
"A coordinated effort among teachers, parents, and the administration is essential to build a skilled, competent, and morally grounded generation," Dr. Salam stated.
Kalia Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Jinnatul Islam chaired the session. He urged local institutions to actively implement government education initiatives and prioritize safe, enjoyable learning environments for all students.
During the open discussion, participating teachers shared insights on the current education system and advocated for practical steps to elevate teaching standards across the upazila.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sraboni Biswas and various departmental officials were also in attendance.
