Janata Bank PLC Managing Director (MD) Mujibur Rahman emphasized honesty, transparency, and responsibility as essential for gaining customer trust and ensuring the bank's sustainable growth.
"To keep the bank profitable, we must first build customer trust," Rahman said. "Managers must be dedicated, honest, and responsible. If you treat the institution like your own family, the bank will never face losses."
He made these remarks Thursday as the chief guest at Janata Bank's Faridpur Divisional Branch Managers Conference, held at SDC Tower in Faridpur.
Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman attended as the special guest, while General Manager Shahidul Islam presided over the event.
"I expect every officer and employee to perform their duties with integrity and efficiency," Rahman added. "We must increase public trust by improving service quality and adopting customer-friendly practices."
The conference brought together 56 branch managers and senior officials from Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Rajbari, Shariatpur, Kushtia, and Magura districts.
Attendees discussed the bank's ongoing business activities, deposit growth, loan recovery progress, and future action plans. Organizers noted the event aimed to accelerate branch operations and improve customer service, with officials pledging to work collaboratively for the bank's success.
