


The Climate Resilience Center (CCRC) held its annual general meeting on Tuesday morning at Pasharbunia village in Khaulia Union, Morelganj.
CCRC President Mostazabul Haque presided over the event, with Khaulia Union Parishad Panel Chairman Bitul Biswas attending as the chief guest. The meeting, moderated by CCRC General Secretary Md. Abul Hossain, featured addresses from local leaders and NGO representatives discussing community development and disaster preparedness.
Guest speakers included CCDB Upazila Coordinator Subrata Mistry, CCDB Resilient Building Manager Samiul Alam, Jagorani Chakra Foundation Representative Zulfikar Ali, and Upazila CSO Network General Secretary Fazlul Haque Khokon, among others.
Established in 2013 with support from the development organization CCDB, the CCRC provides skills training and business development strategies to marginalized groups. The center’s primary goal is to build local economic and structural resilience, enabling the community to independently support itself during natural disasters or future crises.
During the session, CCRC Cashier Sufia Khanam presented the financial report for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. She confirmed that following the year's income and expenditures, the organization maintains a reserve bank balance of BDT 871,565 to fund ongoing community support initiatives.
