A total of Tk 4.75 lakh was distributed among youth organizers in Lakshmipur from the Youth Welfare Fund on Tuesday.

The cheque distribution ceremony was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, presided over by DC Rajib Kumar.

The initiative aims to encourage successful youth organizations in the district. Present at the event were Humayun Korbi, Deputy Director of the Department of Youth Development, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Samrat Khisa.

Under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, eight youth organizers received Tk 50,000 each, while one received Tk 75,000 for the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
