A discussion meeting and prayer mahfil were held in Lohagara to pray for the soul of the late former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
On Monday (January 5), at 10:30 am, organized by the Lohagara Upazila Krishak Dal and the Municipal Krishak Dal, on the north side of the Upazila Parishad gate, under the chairmanship of the organization's member secretary Parvez Molya and conducted by the joint general secretary of Lohagara Municipal BNP, Musa Molya, Narail-2 BNP-nominated candidate with the paddy sheaf symbol, AZM Fariduzzaman Farhad, spoke as the chief guest.
Among others, BNP leader and former chairman of Naldi Union Parishad Asaduzzaman, former convener of the District Krishak Dal, Enamul Kabir Chandan, Lohagara Municipal BNP vice-president SM Shahin Biplob and others spoke.
Later, a prayer meeting was held. A large number of people from different walks of life, including BNP leaders, activists, supporters, and others, were present at the prayer meeting.
