


A fire broke out in a wasted clothes Warehouse in the Kathora area of Salna under Gazipur City Corporation. Upon receiving the information, 4 units of the Fire Service personnel brought the fire under control. No one was injured in the incident.
The fire broke out in the wasted clothes Warehouse at around 12:30 pm on Tuesday (January 13).
According to the Fire Service and local sources, a fire broke out in a wasted clothes Warehouse located in the house owned by Abdul Awal Mia on Tuesday afternoon. Later, locals informed the Fire Service and tried to put out the fire. But the fire went out of control at the moment. Upon receiving the information, two units of the Rajendrapur Fire Service started working to control the fire at the spot. When the intensity of the fire increased, two more units from the Bhogra Modern Fire Station went to the spot. The fire was brought under control by four units of the fire service around 1:15 pm before it spread to the nearby tin shed.
Station Officer of Bhogra Modern Fire Service, Hiron Mia, said that the fire was brought under control around 1:15 pm. However, the work of damping was still going on around 2:45 pm. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage can be said subject to investigation. No one was injured in the incident.
