For the first time, on the occasion of the Great Victory Day, a three-day Victory Fair has been organized at CRB in Chattogram under the initiative of the district administration. The fair began with colorful arrangements at Sirishtala of CRB, known as the 'breather' of Chattogram.

The organizers said that this arrangement has been made to spread the spirit of victory and to provide an opportunity for domestic entrepreneurs to display and sell their products. Stalls of various types of products including domestic handicrafts, clothing, home furnishings, embroidery, jewelry, cosmetics, etc. have been set up at the fair with the participation of small and medium entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs' own products are attracting the attention of buyers at each stall.

The organizers expect that there will be a crowd of visitors at the fair from morning to night. People of all ages are coming to the fair with their families and relatives and spending time besides shopping. The active participation of young and female entrepreneurs in particular has added a new dimension to the fair.

Chattogram Divisional Commissioner Dr. Md. Ziauddin was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the fair. Chattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Hasib Aziz was the special guest. Chattogram Range DIG Md. Ahsan Habib Palash, Chattogram Police Superintendent Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan and Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Islam Miah were also present.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Islam Miah said that this fair has been organized in a natural and beautiful environment. Such an arrangement will benefit local entrepreneurs and increase the interest of the general public in domestic products. In addition, one of the goals of this fair is to highlight the significance of the historic Victory Day among the new generation.

This three-day Victory Fair will be open to the public until a specific time every day. The organizers have expressed their hope that this fair will be organized on a larger scale in the future.
