"Unity of youth against corruption, will build the purity of the future" A human chain and discussion meeting were held in Chandanaish in a colorful arrangement to celebrate the International Anti-Corruption Day.

On Tuesday (December 9) morning, after hoisting the national flag and the ACC flag, flying pigeons, a rally, and a human chain, this discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Auditorium Hall under the joint initiative of the Upazila Administration and Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee.

It was presided over by Md. Jahangir Alam, President of the Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee. Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Rajib Hossain was present as the chief guest. The event was moderated by the General Secretary of the Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee, Md. Ariful Islam. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jhantu Bikash Chakma, Vice-President of the Corruption Prevention Committee, Md. Abu Taleb, President of Chandanaish Press Club and member of the Corruption Prevention Committee, journalist Md. Kamaruddin, General Secretary Khaled Raihan, Organizing Secretary Aminul Islam Rubel, Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Chaiti Barua, Dr. Sajib Deb Nath, officials from various government departments, NGO representatives, and journalists were present.

At the time, the speakers said that in the light of the International Anti-Corruption Charter, Bangladesh, like other countries in the world, is celebrating the International Anti-Corruption Day-2025. This time, the theme of the day is the unity of youth against corruption, building a clean future, and this day is being celebrated in Chandanaish like other countries. To curb corruption, everyone has to come forward together. We are trying to involve the people. The government has taken many initiatives to build a corruption-free state and is implementing them. However, we must remember that this task is not the government's alone, it is the task of all of us. Therefore, all of us should play an important role in this task.
