The District Detective Branch (DB) has arrested a youth in Ishwardi with two illegal firearms. He was arrested from the Diyar Baghil Clubmore area of ​​Pakshi Union late on Wednesday (December 9th).

The arrested person is Hossain Mohammad Jeet (19), son of Lalu Malitha of Diyar Baghil Clubmore area. According to DB sources, this special operation was conducted under the overall direction of Pabna District Superintendent of Police Anwar Zahid and under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (Finance and Administration) Mashiur Rahman Mondal and Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Rezinur Rahman. The police searched the house of the arrested Jeet and recovered a revolver with ten chambers and a single shooter gun. He was arrested from the spot along with the weapons.

Ishwardi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mominuzzaman said that although a case has been filed against the arrested Hossain Mohammad Jit at the police station, he is still in the custody of the DB police for investigation into the case.
