


A two-day "Dream Fair 2025" was successfully held in Nageshwari, Kurigram, celebrating the achievements of teenagers rescued from child marriage, successful entrepreneurs, and youth organizers.
The event was organized under the Child Not Bright (CNB) project, implemented by MJSKS and RDRS Bangladesh, in collaboration with Plan International Bangladesh. Upazila Executive Officer Md. Shahnur Zaman inaugurated the fair. The fair featured an exhibition where successful entrepreneurs displayed and sold handicraft and cottage industry products.
The primary focus was on empowering and educating the youth through extensive discussion sessions held at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium, covering diverse topics including: • Career Guidance: Job market abroad, safe migration, career counseling, and becoming self-employed through technical and vocational education (TVET).
• Entrepreneurship: Economic empowerment, becoming successful organizers, and social business entrepreneurship.
• Personal Development: Mental health and stress management, achieving national/international awards through volunteer work, overcoming adversity, and legal awareness ("Youth should not be ignorant of all the legal issues").
• Creative Expression: Sessions involving dancing, singing, poetry recitation, and foreign language learning.
The program was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Muh. Shahnur Zaman and featured several high-level guests, including the chief guest, Director of Local Government Rangpur Division Md. Abu Jafar, Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad Firuzul Islam, and Additional Deputy Commissioner ABM Kudrat-e Khuda. The event concluded with motivational speeches and an award distribution ceremony.
