Nahid Rana beats Pakistan in Bangladesh's history

Mirpur: Bangladesh has picked up another historic win against Pakistan. The Tigers beat Pakistan by 104 runs in the Mirpur Test with the excellent bowling of young pacer Nahid Rana. Nazmul Hossain Shanto's team went ahead by a 1-0 margin in the two-match series. This is Bangladesh's third consecutive Test win against Pakistan. After winning the series in Pakistan in 2024, Bangladesh also lost to Pakistan at home. This is Bangladesh's first Test win against Pakistan in Mirpur. Pakistan have been under pressure from the start to chase down the target of 268 runs. Imam-ul-Haq returned to the dressing room as Taskin Ahmed said in the first over of the innings. Earlier, Bangladesh scored 413 runs in the first innings of captain Shanto's century and Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim's fifties. Pakistan scored a century in Azan Awais. In the second innings, Bangladesh scored 240 runs in the second innings, when Pakistan declared the innings by scoring 9 wickets, scoring 268 runs in front of Pakistan. But on the last day, the visitors could not survive in front of Bangladesh's pace and spin attacks. With this victory, Bangladesh has given their new strength against Pakistan. Nahid Rana's pace bowling has become a new hope in the country's cricket.
