Police Arrest Two Wanted Fugitives in Chittagong City

Police arrested two wanted men during separate raids across Chittagong city on Thursday (July 2). Acting on a tip-off, officers from the Kotwali Police Station apprehended the individuals who were wanted in separate cases.

The suspects were identified as Md. Fazlul Karim, a resident of Osmania Lane, and Mohammad Abdul Malek of Nandankanan No. 1 Street.

Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Zayed Mohammad Nazmun Noor confirmed the arrests. He stated that Fazlul Karim faced a two-month civil detention order under a Complaint Register (CR) case warrant. Meanwhile, Abdul Malek was wanted under a separate CR warrant with a three-month simple imprisonment sentence.

Both individuals have been handed over to the court.
