Khulna District Council Allocates Tk 3 Crore for 214 Institutions in Paikgacha and Koyra

The Khulna District Council has allocated Tk 3 crore for the infrastructural development and renovation of 214 social institutions in Paikgacha and Koyra upazilas.

On Thursday, July 2, Khulna District Council Administrator SM Monirul Hasan Bappi directly handed over the allocation letters to the respective institutional heads to ensure a transparent distribution process. The development funds will benefit 118 institutions in Paikgacha and 96 in Koyra.

Paikgachha Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury presided over the distribution ceremony. Administrator Bappi, who also serves as the Acting Member Secretary of Khulna District BNP and Chairman of the District Red Crescent Society, attended as the chief guest.

The event was also attended by Upazila Agriculture Officer Ekramul Hossain, along with key district and municipal BNP leaders, local government officials, and the heads of the recipient institutions.

Following the distribution program, Administrator Bappi distributed tree saplings to local educational institutions and inaugurated a free eye treatment camp for the community.
