


In the upcoming parliamentary elections, the nomination papers of two candidates out of 9 candidates have been cancelled in the scrutiny of Bhola-2 constituency. They are independent candidate Md. Mohibullah Khokon and another independent candidate Taslima Begum.
On Thursday afternoon, during the scrutiny at the Bhola Deputy Commissioner's office, the District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shamim Rahman announced the cancellation of the nomination papers of two candidates.
District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shamim Rahman said that the scrutiny of nomination papers was held today in Bhola-2 (Daulatkhan-Borhanuddin) constituency. In this, the nomination papers of 7 candidates out of 9 candidates were declared valid. And the nomination papers of two independent candidates were cancelled after 10 people were randomly selected from 1% voter support and were not found to be correct. Among them, independent candidates Mahibullah Khokon and Taslima Begum.
9 candidates from Bhola-2 seat filed their nomination papers today. BNP candidate Md. Hafiz Ibrahim, Jatiya Party candidate Advocate Md. Jahangir Alam Rintu, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Fazlul Karim, Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis candidate Md. Abdus Salam, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) candidate Md. Mokfar Uddin Chowdhury, Aam Janata Dal candidate Md. Alauddin, and independent candidates Md. Zakir Hossain Khandaker, Mohibullah Khokon and Taslima Begum have filed their nomination papers.
