


Padmahem Dham in Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj, is set to host a "Sadhusanga" this Thursday to commemorate the 135th death anniversary of saint-poet Fakir Lalon Shah. The event promises a soulful evening dedicated to the mystic's enduring philosophy of love and humanity.
The two-part Anniversary celebration kicks off at 3 pm on October 23 with an agomoni gaan (arrival song), followed by the main musical session, "Dhonno Prohorer Gaan," at 8 pm. The lineup features renowned Baul musicians, including Pagla Bablu, Razzak Baul, and Eliza Putul.
Noted actor and director Afzal Hossain will inaugurate the gathering, with Tourist Police Superintendent Nihad Adnan Taian attending as the chief guest.
Kabir Hossain, founder of Padmahem Dham, emphasized that the Sadhusanga is a "communion of souls," carrying on the tradition of collective reflection on Lalon's timeless teachings.
