BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Aniee questioned how the Naib-e-Ameer of an Islamic party could utter the phrase, 'No Hunky Panky' as a responsible individual. Is this the kind of political discourse we expect? Is it something the general public would find acceptable? When political leaders resort to such language, it only invites ridicule and contempt from the masses.

He emphasized that 'No Hunky Panky' cannot represent the ideological stance of any political party. The individual who made this statement is not only a responsible party member but also a medical professional. Such expressions are unbecoming of someone in his position.

He made these remarks while serving as the chief guest at the introductory meeting of the newly established committee of the Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal district branch, held at Bashir Villa on Godown Road in Lakshmipur city on Friday afternoon, November 7.

Aniee further stated that this election is unique and significant. Therefore, we have prioritized mass communication. This effort is not new; we have been engaging with the public in the field since the July movement, a commitment spanning 17 years. Our work continues, and we maintain strong unity nationwide, including in Lakshmipur. It is through this unity that we will achieve our goals.

She asserted the necessity of strong unity, reminiscent of past movements and struggles, particularly the unity demonstrated in last July's events. Without this solidarity, the fascist Hasina could exploit the situation. However, we cannot afford to grant any further opportunities to the fallen fascist. Vigilance is essential for everyone.

The meeting was chaired by Saiful Islam Shahin, President of the Zelad Sramik Dal, and included District BNP Member Secretary Sahab Uddin Sabu, Joint Convener Adv. Md. Hasibur Rahman, BFF Vice President Adv. Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy, former president of the district workers' party Abul Hashem, Nizam Uddin Bhuiyan, and other leaders. The session was moderated by Abul Hossain Sohel, with Md. Abul Hashem delivering the main address. Over a hundred leaders and members from different units, including the district committee of the workers' party, attended the meeting.
